At the beginning of every year, I have been posting my stats for the previous year so that I can compare them year to year. I am running late this year because when I ran the 15 Minutes to Quilt challenge on YouTube, I found more quilts that weren't on my list of quilts in progress, and some of my estimated dates on the spreadsheet were incorrect, so I felt like I had to do more auditing to try to be as correct as I can. This means that my charts this year will look a little different than ...

In this post, I go over my posts during the year and give you a summary of the quilts I made, and any big events. I make a yearly recap every year. In 2021, I did not have any rules - I could start and finish as many quilts as I wanted without any guilt. The key was just to enjoy the journey. This lead to some fun finishes in 2022, but the number of unfinished quilts grew. Then I created a rule to finish more quilts than I started. I continued the rule to finish ...
read moreMy goal was to have an average of 2 finished quilts each month = 24. One month I only had one but I caught up with 3 the next month. When I got to December I had 4 quilts to finish before Christmas so I knew I was going to exceed my goal of 2. I also had 2 that were just waiting for binding. I ended up the month with 2 small colorwash wallhangings for a total of 8 which boosted the year total to 30.
I didn't have a chance of reducing ... read more

In this post, I go over my posts during the year and give you a summary. of the quilts I made, and any big events. I make a yearly recap every year. Like last year, I did not have any rules - I could start and finish as many quilts as I wanted without any guilt. The key was just to enjoy the journey. This lead to some fun finishes in 2022. Then I created a rule to finish more quilts than I started. Let's see how that affected my quilting.

I started ...
19 quilts were finished in 2022. I had my yellow series (3), three 16 patch and two colorwash. The rest was a variety. Five of the 19 were large ones ranging from 83" - 92" on the longest side and 4 of those were tops from previous years. That makes me happy. 10 were tops made this year and will be in the quilt top collage also. 4 were quilted on my Pfaff and the other 15 were quilted on my longarm. (stats for me to look back at.)
I finished 26 quilt tops in 2022. That's an average of ...

There are two posts today. The previous post shows all of the quilts I finished in 2021.
This post shows charts and graphs. I keep a spreadsheet that lists the quilts I work on. I started showing the spreadsheet on my blog to document my year like an annual report.
Below is the list of 15 quilts that I started this year.
This report shows that I have started 160 quilts. I have created folders for each of these quilts so I can put all the WIP photos for the quilt to keep them more organized.
It also shows that ...

In January, I participated in some of the Project Quilting challenge, making a quilt in a week using the challenge guidelines. Lightbulb is one of them.
Kamaria is another Project Quilting Challenge.

I had 16 complete finishes in 2021. Two of them were pretty old waiting for their turn. 8 of them were pieced in 2021 and will also be in the quilt tops collage. The other 6 were pieced in 2020.
I finished 3 table runners and made 19 table mats that are 8.5" x 11".
I made 27 quilt tops. 8 were quilted in 2021, 6 were sold, and the remaining 13 will wait their turn to be quilted or sold. What this means is I have 5 more tops waiting to be finished than I did at the ... read more
I know I have already given you a recap of my quilting year complete with pictures.
Since these numbers keep changing, I wanted to document my inventory of my quilting for 2020. I keep a running spreadsheet that lists the quilts I make. It includes the dates I started and finished the quilts. There are some additional columns that show the progress - fabrics cut, blocks made, border added, and quilted -- but I hid them because they clutter up the spreadsheet for the inventory.
The outstanding things I noticed is that I finished only one old project in 2020. I have ...
read moreI met my goal of 20 finished quilts in 2020. I'm happy with the variety and especially happy that I quilted several of the large tops that have been waiting for many years. Several were new tops that I made in 2020. I started the year out strong with 3 finishes each month for 4 months and 2 finishes in the 5th month and then gardening season started. I always slow down then but I didn't get motivated for a few more months and then it was crash time, either get it done or not meet my goal ... read more

2019 has been a good year for me, especially on the quilting front. I joined the challenge to make a small quilt a month, and because of that, I have lots of finishes to show you. Let's charge right in, shall we?

In January, I made Vintage Holiday. The pattern is in a magazine, and I was smitten as soon as I saw it. Since I took the picture, I took out the lace that is on that tree, lightly coffee-dyed it so it wouldn't stand out so much, and put it back in.February
